For our location in Leiden, we are looking for a GMP Facility Operator (Cleanroom & Logistics). In this role, you will ensure that production and laboratory environments, materials and equipment meet the highest quality and hygiene standards. You will work according to strict GMP guidelines, making an important contribution to an environment where medicines can be produced safely.
What will you do?
As a GMP Facility Operator, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities within production, laboratory and support environments:
- Cleaning equipment.
- Processing and cleaning materials that are transferred between different GMP zones.
- Replenishing consumables for production and quality departments.
- Managing cleanroom and non-cleanroom clothing supplies.
- Ensuring correct waste disposal in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Recording completed activities in logbooks and GMP documentation.
- Working in accordance with GMP, safety and quality guidelines.
- Identifying and reporting deviations, near misses and safety risks.
- Supporting material flows, including temperature-sensitive materials and cold-chain processes.
- Cleaning and disinfecting cleanrooms, production areas, laboratories and warehouse locations.
In this role, you are much more than someone responsible for cleaning activities. You are an essential link within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Through your work, production areas, equipment and materials remain available for the production of medicines that make a difference to patients worldwide.

What do you bring?
We are looking for a precise and responsible colleague who understands the importance of quality and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry.
You have:
- Experience in a GMP, cleanroom or pharmaceutical environment is an advantage but not essential.
- An affinity with logistics processes and materials management.
- A precise and structured approach to work.
- Good understanding of procedures and documentation.
- A strong sense of responsibility when it comes to safety and quality.
- Flexibility to work shifts, on-call duties and, when required, weekends.

45 jaar succesverhaal
Sinds januari 1996 maakt Giuseppe deel uit van de Apleona-familie – en kan hij terugkijken op maar liefst 45 jaar beroepservaring. Met passie en toewijding geeft hij vandaag leiding aan een team van 17 collega's in de schoonmaakbranche.
Giuseppe is er bijzonder trots op dat hij veel van zijn klanten al bijna 30 jaar begeleidt. Dit vertrouwen betekent veel voor hem – want voor hem staat de tevredenheid van zijn klanten altijd op de eerste plaats. Een sterk team, langdurige relaties en wederzijds respect – dat is precies wat Apleona voor Giuseppe betekent.
Tussen klanten, team en kwaliteit
Ria is servicemanager bij Apleona en begeleidt een klantlocatie in München. Daar organiseert ze de inzet van het schoonmaakpersoneel, stelt ze schoonmaakroosters op en voert ze regelmatig schoonmaakcontroles uit – altijd met als doel de hoogste kwaliteit en tevreden klanten te garanderen. Haar carrière bij Apleona begon in de uitvoerende schoonmaak en dankzij haar inzet en bijscholing heeft ze zich verder ontwikkeld. Tegenwoordig heeft ze een diploma als specialist in hygiëne en schoonmaakmanagement. Voor Ria is het duidelijk: een goede servicemanager moet servicegericht zijn, er voor de klant zijn – en ook haar team goed in de gaten houden. Bij Apleona waardeert ze vooral dat er veel instapmogelijkheden en ontwikkelingstrajecten zijn – of je nu een opleiding volgt of werkervaring hebt.
Schoonmaak met systeem & passie
Visnja werkt sinds 2016 fulltime bij Apleona en zorgt met veel toewijding ervoor dat vergaderruimtes, keukens en toiletten dagelijks schoon en netjes zijn. Ze kwam via een aanbeveling bij het bedrijf terecht en is gebleven omdat het team goed klikt, de werkomgeving modern is en ze hier echt gewaardeerd wordt.
Ze voert haar werk betrouwbaar, gestructureerd en met oog voor detail uit. Ook op stressvolle dagen blijft ze kalm en gefocust, een kracht die ze bijzonder waardeert. Ze vindt haar evenwicht in de natuur, tijdens een wandeling in het bos of aan het meer.
