Cleaning Operative

At Apleona , We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team , We currently have an opening for cleaning operatives to join out team at our site in Silloge, Co Dublin 

Shift Pattern Monday to Friday 7:00 - 11:00

Main duties and responsibilities

▪ Work effectively and adhere to all Site Specific and Apleona Procedures and instructions

▪ Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties

▪ Ensure cleaning activities are completed in a manner which will not compromise the health and safety of employees and visitors to the site.

▪ Complete all logbooks and documentation in a timely manner as per site instructions and SOPs

▪ In coordination with cleaning supervisor plan, schedule and execute cleaning activities in the relevant GMP or designated areas

▪ Report fabric defects to the cleaning supervisor

▪ Ensure all equipment is safe before use and report any faults to machinery and be aware of service requirements

▪ Report health and safety related issues to the supervisor with minimum delay

▪ Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents or observations to the supervisor with minimum delay

▪ Follow all gowning procedures as per site procedures and SOPs

▪ Show commitment to excellence, assume responsibility

▪ Act responsibly to the natural environment and society

▪ Deal responsibly with capital & equipment

▪ To order stocks and ensure that all storerooms are stocked in a safe and tidy manner to avoid stock loss and minimise wastage

▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

▪ Team player and result orientated. Be a team player, honest, loyal, genuine

▪ Solid record of attention to detail, strict adherence to procedures and safety focused

▪ Flexibility and results focused in a fast-paced lean environment

▪ Deal responsibly with capital, develop Bilfinger strategically and operationally, full and open communication, transparent reporting

The successful candidate must also hold:

▪ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

▪ Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation

▪ Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work

▪ Flexible, honest and reliable

▪ Previous experience as working as a cleaner is desirable

▪ Experience in the use of cleaning equipment is desirable

▪ Basic health and safety knowledge

▪ Flexible approach to working as part of a team
