At Apleona, We are always on the lookout for dynamic and talented individuals to join our Team and we are currently recruiting for Cleaning Operatives to join our team at our site in Blackrock, Dublin
Working pattern: Monday - Friday 7:00 - 10:00
Job Description
- Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, and toilets.
- Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors and walls
- Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
- General housekeeping and cleaning around the building.
- Inform the Supervisor/Manager of the stock required for replenishing purposes
- Undertake any other duties as requested
Requirements:
- A can do attitude
- Experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of English
- Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
- Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.

A 45-year success story
Giuseppe has been part of the Apleona family since January 1996 – and can look back on an impressive 45 years of professional experience. Today, he leads a team of 17 colleagues in the building cleaning sector with passion and dedication.
Giuseppe is particularly proud to have been serving many of his clients for almost 30 years. This trust means a great deal to him – because for him, customer satisfaction always comes first. Balancing clients, team and quality
Ria is a service manager at Apleona and oversees a client site in Munich. There, she organises the deployment of cleaning staff, draws up cleaning schedules and carries out regular cleaning inspections – always with the aim of ensuring the highest quality and satisfied clients. She began her career at Apleona in operational cleaning and has progressed through dedication and further training. Today, she holds a qualification as a specialist in hygiene and cleaning management. For Ria, one thing is clear: a good service manager should be service-oriented, be there for the client – and keep a close eye on their team as well. What she particularly values at Apleona is that there are many entry opportunities and career paths – whether through apprenticeships or professional experience.
Cleanliness with a systematic approach & passion
Visnja has been working full-time at Apleona since 2016 and, with great dedication, ensures that meeting rooms, kitchens and toilets are clean and well-maintained every day. She joined the company on a recommendation and has stayed because she gets on well with the team, the working environment is modern, and she feels truly valued here.
She carries out her work reliably, in a structured manner and with an eye for detail. Even on stressful days, she remains calm and focused – a strength she particularly values. She finds balance in nature, whilst walking in the woods or by the lake.
