We are looking for Part-time Cook/ Kitchen Assistants to join our team in various residential care homes in Clonakility, Co Cork
Working pattern is Monday - Sunday Flexible various shifts, 12 hours per week
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility
- To attend any mandatory training
- To follow any procedures and policies in the work place
- Timely preparation of menu items
- Assist with the catering set-up
- Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.
- General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control
- Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes
- Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the supervisor with minimum delays
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food service environment
- Min 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Flexibility and the ability to innovate
- Knowledge of HACCP and ability to implement a HACCP procedures.
- Ability to maintain standards, quality and innovation daily
- Basic Computer skills
- Garda vetting
