We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our team in Dublin 4
Working Pattern Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16;00
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all building fabric under our control as per the Plant CMMS / CAFM system
- Assist the engineering team to carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control as per the Plant CMMS / CAFM system
- Ensure that all contractors and staff are H&S compliant including management & creation of documents for SSOW
- Maintain appropriate records in line with Good Practice requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and Good Practice, and ensure compliance with the 6(Sorting, Simplify, Sweep, Standardise, Sustain, Safety) during maintenance work
- Maintain an internal ‘Best Practice’ regime and encourage continuous improvements ▪ Reactive cover for repairs to desks, windows, walls and doors etc.
- Regular site walks to determine areas that require renovation attention
- Liaise with the service desk / Team Lead and respond to all non-technical queries in a timely manner to ensure conformance with the relevant Service Level Agreement
- Fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating, door furniture, office furniture etc
- Assist subcontractors to allow them to carry out their tasks, for example signing in, work permits and showing to area
- Ensure any training deemed necessary by your line manager is completed within the agreed timeframe
- Must be willing to take on and familiarize with all relevant site systems as deemed necessary to complete the role
- Painting and decorating ad-hoc as needed
- Assist with all queries regarding quotations and purchasing when requested:
- Must appreciate the importance of taking ownership of certain functions as allocated to the team
- Must be physically fit as this can be a demanding role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in a similar position and environment
- Previous post qualified experience
- Experience using forklift
- Previous experience working in a building services maintenance role
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
