Apleona Ireland is looking for a colleague to fulfill the Operations Manager role in a pharmaceutical setting in Longford area

 

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality service delivery, exceed customer expectations, and promote the company's core values.
  • Implement control measures to maintain safe working environments for subcontractors and staff, ensuring smooth business operations.
  • Oversee contract delivery to ensure mechanical and electrical maintenance activities are completed in line with site-specific, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support clients in identifying energy management and operational efficiency opportunities that reduce cost and improve performance.
  • Establish and manage quality measures, facilitate two-way communication, and drive continuous improvement through feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring complaints, issues, and escalations are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Measure service delivery effectiveness against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high performance and minimal deductions.
  • Lead, support, and develop teams to ensure they are trained, motivated, and capable of delivering high-quality services.
  • Ensure safe systems of work, manage Health and safety requirements, and comply with all statutory and company procedures.
  • Suggest and implement service delivery improvements and innovations.
  • Support commercial activities including budgeting, labour planning, subcontractor cost control, and tender support where required
  • Prepare monthly management reports, conduct regular site audits, and ensure timely, accurate client reporting.
  • Support any ad-hoc projects as required by management

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent.
  • Financial and budgetary experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • People management experience is essential.
  • Energy management experience/qualification is advantageous.
  • Membership in a relevant professional organization is advantageous
