With Multiple site across the country. Apleona is currently recruiting for a Security Manager to join our team at our facility in Damastown Dublin 15

Working Pattern Monday - Sunday Average 24 hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities

• Be presentable and client orientated
• Be comfortable working on own initiative
• Work from main entrance point of the building and enjoy communicating with people
• Organise access cards for staff and visitors
• Manage site visitor log book
• Follow on site security requirements including but not limited to internal and external patrols
• Update the Apleona Security Software app with patrolling details, Incidents and logs
• Monitoring CCTV cameras and footage
• Site Gritting / Salting as required
• Temperature Screening
• Access control and monitoring
• Liaising with mobile security patrols and key holders for secure open / lock up
• Maintain good levels of communication with Apleona supervisors and managers (off site)
• Searching people and vehicles as and when required
• Deal with emergency situations including but not limited to Initial alert and evacuations
• Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format adhering to all quality procedures both from a company and client perspective
• Provide reception cover during break times and other emergency situations Person Specification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexible approach to duties undertaken
• Willing to step in to cover annual leave / sick leave of co-workers
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Previous experience in a similar role

Qualifications and Experience

• PSA license  Experience operating CCTV, Access Control and security systems
• Good with written reports, emails, word / excel
• Experience in a similar role essential
• First aid training an advantage
• Candidate may need to provide cover on other Apleona sites if required
