Job description:

  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the Canteen’s recipes, portioning and serving standards
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition
  •  Control food cost and usage
  •  Ensure accurate stocktaking each week
  •  Submit staff timesheets
  • Report any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures
  • Oversee the training of personnel in safe operation of all equipment and utensils
  •  Ensure compliance with HACCP regulations
  •  Maintains professional appearance at all times

 

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff and School staff & Students
  • Be a team player, have time management and organizational skills
  • Be motivated, enthusiastic and reliable
  • Computer literacy
  • Garda vetting
