At Apleona, we are always on the lookout for dynamic and talented individuals to join our team. Currently, we have an opening at our site in Tullagreen, Co Cork for an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician (Willemin)”

Shift Pattern Monday - Sunday 39 Hours per week

Responsibilities

• Effective repair & maintenance of CNC Machinery (Fanuc controls a benefit), manual machines, general equipment within the business unit, and machining centres.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
• Identify and replace parts as necessary.
• Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed.
• Complete planned and preventative procedures
• Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
• Communicate effectively and promptly with stakeholders and management.
• Be able to document all work in the maintenance management system clearly
• Travel will be required from time to time for training and machine factory acceptance testing (FAT).

Qualifications and experience

• 2+ years’ experience in Repair and Maintenance of CNC machinery or other Maintenance/Production equipment using a variety of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Electrical experience a benefit.
• Experience in Lockout/Tagout and Arc Flash Safety.
• Fully experienced with all basic hand tools and toolbox.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical procedures.
• Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak clearly and effectively with groups of customers or employees of the organization
