Apleona’s 19-year success story

Dominique has been part of Apleona for 19 years and has built an impressive career during that time. He has progressed from project manager to deputy head of department and now heads the facilities management division at the Cologne site. His journey has been shaped by mergers, changes and new challenges. The last four years in particular have been an exciting and dynamic period for him. “Why am I here? Because Apleona combines enormous potential, dynamism and passion.” What makes Apleona special for Dominique: Innovation & Sustainability: Modern technologies, optimised processes and a clear vision for the future; Teamwork & Appreciation: A culture of collaboration, recognition and professional development; and Future-Orientation: Sustainable solutions, for our clients and for society. His day-to-day work is anything but routine: between operational management, strategic planning and team leadership, he faces a new challenge every day. “My aim is not only to ensure smooth operations, but also to develop my team and achieve success together.” For him, the focus is clearly on creating sustainable value for our customers.

Even as a child, he knew one thing for sure: his future would be in engineering!

You could almost say he was born with a toolbox in his hand. He has now been working as an in-house technician at Apleona for seven years and, with great dedication, ensures that the systems run smoothly. Whether it’s maintenance, repairs or solving unexpected problems, Patrick is always on hand to keep everything running. What does he particularly like about Apleona? The strong team spirit. “We’re a well-oiled team. When it matters, everyone can rely on one another.” For him, spontaneity is part of the job, just like the regular exchanges with colleagues from other departments, which constantly give him fresh inspiration. Patrick stays active in his spare time too, though not with tools, but with a green thumb. His garden is his personal oasis, where he enjoys every spare minute in the fresh air. His property in Berlin and his work at Apleona? Highly recommended!

Passion meets success!

Since June 2023, he has been supporting one of our largest client sites in Berlin as a project coordinator. Tim originally joined us through a temporary employment agency as a plant mechanic. But it soon became clear: he was a permanent fixture in the team! “The friendly atmosphere and professional camaraderie won me over straight away,” he says. Today, he is taking on more and more responsibility and is also working towards his master craftsman’s qualification. Tim embodies what Apleona is all about: team spirit, commitment and the desire to develop further.
