For our further strategic development, we are looking for highly skilled and motivated financials manager to accompany our inorganic growth trajectory and track financial performance and value creation. You will be responsible for overseeing financial performance of acquisitions form the pre-deal phase (Due Diligence, together with our M&A team) through to value delivery in post-merger-integration. You will frequently interact with top Group Management and full visibility towards key stakeholders. We are looking for strategically thinking brains in combination with implementation-savvy hands. What your responsibilities will be:

  • Before acquisition
    • Steering Financial Buy Side Due Diligence (incl. external advisors) together with the Finance Directors of the acquiring business units and our M&A team
    • Translating buy side financials to Apleona standards and logic
    • Accompanying synergy discussions 
    • Accompanying business plan discussions, post-merger-integration planning and implementation – building on a successful acquisition trajectory of 14+ integrations

 

  • After Acquisition
    • Setup of a standardized financial reporting for new acquisitions
    • Monthly tracking of actuals vs. plan and discussion with top management of acquisitions
    • Creating a monthly/quarterly summary reporting per acquisition
    • Hands-on joint work together with finance team of the acquired company when creating the financial performance reports (on-site if feasible and necessary)

 

  • Communication
    • As part of our Group Controlling team you will have close interaction with Apleona’s Chief Integration Officer, M&A team, and Head of Corporate Development 
    • Close interaction with Apleona’s senior management (esp. CEO, CFO and finance team, Head of Business Units or Country CEOs, M&A and Integration teams)
    • Leading PMI-communication towards our shareholders (Tier-1 international PE firm)

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Background in Finance and Controlling
  • Ideally, experience in Transaction Services
  • Hands-on experience with local Finance organizations
  • >4 years of professional experience in a performance culture
  • Strong interpersonal skills, results-oriented approach, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Senior stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High proficiency in German and English 
  • Willingness to work from our Neu Isenburg headquarters 
  • Last but not least: Enjoy tackling matters head on and making change happen
