50 percent of real estate in the EU is more than 50 years old and 75 percent of the EU's building stock is energy inefficient. At the same time, real estate is responsible for a total of 36 percent of CO2 emissions and 40 percent of energy consumption. Strategic Green Real Estate Manager (f/m/d)  
 

‘Green Real Estate’ with a focus on energy efficiency and decarbonization - help our customers reach their sustainability targets 

What your responsibilities will be: 

Drive overarching, strategic tasks in the field of Green Real Estate, such as 

• Further detail and implement the GRE strategy together with operational units 

• Manage strategic projects (e.g., in the light of new regulatory requirements, future contract models for green products, uniform KPI reporting, energy data transparency) 

• Conduct comprehensive analyses to support organizational development and strategic decision-making 

• Support the reporting process towards our Management Board and owner (Private Equity) 

Drive (strategic) product development of Green Real Estate products, with tasks such as 
 

• Develop vision, target picture and roadmap for a specific Green Real Estate solutions (e.g., e-mobility, change to renewable heating) and growth areas 

• Scan solutions space (e.g., PropTech market), select solutions 

• Develop business cases and commercial models 

• Support in developing new partnerships  

• Integrate solutions into Apleona’s operations processes 

• Market solution within Apleona and towards customers 

Scale products and develop concepts for the operationalization of products 

What you bring to the table: 

• Successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Sustainability or a related field 

• 2-5 years of professional experience in a strategic position or preferably management consulting, ideally with a focus on sustainability or real estate 

• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, proactiveness and a high degree of ability to work independently 

• Experience in leading projects 

• Experience in coordinating complex tasks and processes  

• Ability to develop convincing strategic concepts for the top management level 

• Strong social and exceptional communication skills 

• Strong analytical skills and data affinity 

• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills 

• Fluent in English and German
